Jennifer is a choreographer, producer and the founder of Broadway Connection, BC Beat and The BringAbout, a company which utilizes dance, movement, physical contact and pedestrian gesture to explore the imagination of every tale. She is an experienced and eager collaborator who challenges convention in American Musical Theatre, carving a unique legacy with the newest generation of theatre makers.
In 2017, Jennifer joined the Broadway company of HAMILTON as Resident Choreographer. Current and upcoming projects as choreographer include: the new play, FMK by James Presson, directed by Sash Bischoff; the new musical, DIVA!, by Alex Sage Oyen and S.P. Monahan, directed by Daniel Goldstein; the new musical, JOHNNY AND THE DEVIL'S BOX by Douglas Waterbury-Tieman, directed by John Hurley; the new musical ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, by Matte O’Brien and Matt vinson; and new works with Elliah Heifetz and Srda Vasiljevic including musicals and immersive concerts. This year Jennifer is in residency at The Drama League and Barn Arts and she continues to direct and choreograph productions for Sea World/Busch Gardens. As a choreographer and associate director her work in musical theater has been seen in collaboration with The Public Theater, City Center, Skirball Center, Dallas Theater Center, The Royal George, Flat Rock Playhouse, New London Barn Playhouse, Trinity Rep, Merrimack Theatre and Madison Square Garden, among others.
Jennifer has been a master teacher and guest lecturer at NYU, Syracuse University, PACE, University of the Arts, College of Charleston, and Shanghai Theater Academy. A graduate of Cornell University, Jennifer is the founder and creative director of BC Beat, a bi-annual choreography showcase featuring new work by theatrical artists with its 12th installment in May 2017, co-founding Artistic Director of Broadway Connection, a national and international arts education organization heading into its 9th year, and Creative Director of ASTIR. @jencuska www.JenniferJancuska.com
