Jennifer Jancuska is a choreographer and creative producer, as well as the founding Artistic Director of Brooklyn based company The BringAbout, whose development work has been engaged by award winning writers, composers, directors and producers and has been seen on stages from New York to California. Jennifer is known for producing the sold out bi-annual event BC BEAT, described by The New York Times as a platform to “step into the spotlight and re-imagine the possibilities for dance in musical theater.”
Jennifer is currently working on Broadway as resident choreographer/dance supervisor of Hamilton. As choreographer, she is developing three new musicals with upcoming productions. They include: The Tale of Despereax by Pig Pen Theatre Co, directed by Mark Bruni, in association with Universal Theatrical Group (The Old Globe, Berkeley Rep); Hood by Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Flinn, directed by Mark Brokaw (Asolo Rep); and Anne of Green Gables, A New Musical by Matte O’Brien and Matt Vinson (theatre TBA).
Jennifer has been a guest-teaching artist for New York University, Syracuse University, Ithaca College, Pace University, University of the Arts, College of Charleston, and Shanghai Theatre Academy. She is a graduate of Cornell University.
