BringAbout PRO Residencies

Development residencies for producers and productions. A nonprofit path for commercial projects to develop new work in a way that is cohesive, feasible, and impactful.

What it is

BringAbout PRO Residencies give commercial projects direct access to a nonprofit development residency, without an application process or waiting for a spot on another organization's calendar. Choose the dates that fit the project, and BringAbout gets the residency on the calendar.

Projects go into residency with BringAbout Development for as much time as the project needs: one day, a few days, or multiple weeks, scheduled consecutively or spaced out to fit the team and the project. The room is filled with BringAbout dancers, singers, actors, and musicians who work on Broadway and beyond and know how to build new work from the ground up. Drawing on ten years of developing new musicals and plays, BringAbout offers a process that is efficient, effective, and impactful on both the producing and artistic sides of a project.

One flat daily residency fee covers all of the artists in the room: the cast, musicians, and an assistant or stage manager.
